Based on the parameters and digital tool the team conducted a participatory design workshop to activate and improve areas in a park and its surroundings. The team along with urban design team at Bhubaneswar put forth a proposal to CEO, BSCL to help organize a workshop in a park that activates the Park and engages the citizen to use the platform. The team visited different parks & a popular park for the workshop to be conducted was selected.
This enabled citizens and participants of all age group to understand different parameters and give their suggestions. Activities were organized for children which gave them an opportunity to voice their ideas and imagine the park in different ways. Youth were also engaged through gaming and other activities and were very active in giving their suggestions for their neighborhood & the digital platform.
