RATING APP PILOTED WITH BHUBANESWAR SMART CITY
As part of India smart cities fellowship a rating app for scoring public spaces was developed and a pilot project was undertaken with Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The city has a public GIS portal and has a variety of different heritage areas, parks and open spaces. After an initial visit to various projects, meetings with BSCL CEO and stakeholders the city the team collated different datasets and interacted with citizens and other experts. The technical team in Bhubaneswar greatly helped in implementation of the public space app and was integrated with its citizen app and portal.

ENGAGEMENT AND RESEARCH
The feature App for rating Parks was made live at an initiation workshop and citizens were asked to use the feature on the day of the event. An informative brochure was distributed to citizens and explained with the digital platform. The activity was also published in the local news. Along with this a sample data collection analysis of different aspects was published and these features shall be added in the improved dashboard for the tool. This shall allow the city officers to identify many gaps and conduct improvements in different areas of the city.
