Enabling Data, Design & Participation

For Better Streets & Urban Spaces

We are at the juncture of design and innovation for cities and how it can have a meaningful impact through participation, data insights and people oriented design.

Our process and design tools integrates people and stakeholders to be part of the process and measure quality of streets, public areas and infrastructure to have localised vision plans and solutions.

City planners and citizens can assess an area, provide inputs as well as co-create designs & interventions.

We further create design proposals and improvement plans for specific neighbourhoods & streets based on people-centric approach to enable a shift towards sustainable mobility & built environment.

People-friendly street design is vital for cities to improve their quality of life and also to shift modes of commute from car-dependent to more sustainable modes. Data based metrics and participation helps the design process to become more localized and provide evidence based project interventions.

Public Spaces & Parks

How can a city create healthy & responsive Public Spaces?
Citypoints App

Initiated as part of smart cities fellowship this feature allows viewing and rating of parks and public areas based on developed parameters. A citizen can also use it to explore otherwise unknown public areas, facilities and give their suggestions to the city departments. The app details have been included as part of smart solutions for Indian cities with an opensource code platform supported by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The various places covered in this tool are Parks, Heritage Zone, Markets, Transit areas and Waterfronts. .
